Modelista Products

The Modelista brand is not one I'm familiar with. I saw it months ago in Target stores, but couldn't find much info on the net about it, so didn't make a purchase. I was unsure about the quality of the eye shadows, and didn't want to spend my money on yet more shades to be stockpiled & unused.

That was until recently when I chanced upon the brand again in a bargain bin in the beauty section of Target.
The prices have been slashed dramatically - which normally would be a red flag signalling poor quality.
But in this case, the bargain was just too much to resist! How cute do these look?! Reduced to just $2!!
I think they would make fantastic stocking fillers for girls / teens at Christmas time. They seem to have been 'inspired' by the Too Faced Lace Case Palette released some years ago....except they contained four eye shadows & four lip glosses. And the quality I dare say far superior.
There seemed to be numerous palettes on offer, here's the one I picked up for $3!

I haven't tried it out as yet - but seriously - it cost less than a cup of coffee. It contains eight shadows, one shadow base (the pale square I think!), four eye liners / highlighters, four blushes / bronzers & six lip colours. I think if you can still find them lurking around the Target stores & have any younger girls in your extended family, stock up now in time for Christmas! Impressive stocking fillers to play around with different looks.

If you've tried the brand yourself - your thoughts? I'll post back with mine once I've had a play around with it

  1. I've not tried this brand but I like the neutral palette set and can't go wrong when they cost a cup of coffee :-)
